SkyTech Glide-In retractable skylight system is designed to provide additional semi-open outdoor space beside the buildings to be used all year long. The system elements are fully insulated against the weather condition, so it is used in summer for outdoor activities as a fresh air semi-open space. However, it can be used in winter as well for outdoor activities as a closed warm space.
The Glide-In Skylight is designed with a single or double pitched frame that allows the glass panels to smoothly retract and glide in the rails in an upward movement or a downward movement. SkyTech Glide-In retractable skylight systems are designed to be used as an addition to residential or commercial facilities such as restaurants, cafes, multipurpose spaces, and swimming pools. It includes different models customized according to the site context and user needs so you can set and enjoy the inside environment in the way you desire.
The automated operation of the system can be integrated with doors, windows, and curtain glass systems to insure a fully insulated and transparence space that is retractable for ventilation and access reasons. In an addition, the Glide-in system is designed in a way that makes it exceptionally durable and can be applied and used against wind and snow load.
The Glide-In retractable skylight is divided into 3 types according to the number of frames, Length and span, profile angle, and retracting options. SkyTech’s fourth product types are the GRS1, GRS4, GRS8.
